Welcome to 2012 Everyone!
This year is going to be a great one. I can feel it.
With every year that passes, I realize more and more how much art means to me. Without art in my life, I would feel lost. It allows me explore the world around me. Art helps me to understand the world.
Each year I set a goal in art for myself. This year I have decided to dedicate more of my time to painting. Since I’m obsessed with all things miniature, I will be starting off with some very tiny canvases. My working space will be 3″x3″! I’m excited but a little nervous 
I know this will be a challenge that only helps me grow into a more versatile artist.
I’m going to start off by painting a snail or possibly a lil fishy. Kind of like this guy….
So, tell me. If you only had a 3″x3″ space to work in, how would you feel? What would you think? Would you see this as a challenge or would you call this easy-peasy? Also, what medium would you use? Pencil? ink? Paint?
